The Pharmacy Show is the largest sourcing and networking event for pharmacy professionals in the UK, attracting over 10,000 professionals. It is the national event for the community pharmacy industry. Being the national event, delegates across the whole supply chain attend. The Pharmacy Show enables exhibitors and visitors to source, compare and buy various products and try out different services from over 400 UK and international organisations representing the entire spectrum of the pharmacy industry. From new medicines to innovative products and profitable new retailing ideas, you are sure to find something you need!
It is also a very exciting time for pharmacies as the diversity of services provided and conducted expands. Pharmacists now have better tools to give more tailored advice and personalised recommendations to optimise their customer's outcomes.
Rightangled was exhibiting at Pharmacy Show this year at stand #PD51 prospecting pharmacists and pharmacy purchasing groups with regards to stocking our DNA kits in various pharmacies across the UK as we want to enable personalised health within DNA testing to become more accessible to the general public. It was a great opportunity to get in front of thousands of pharmacy owners, wholesalers, buyers, distributors and decision makers, in a fascinating trade environment. We met many pharmacy experts and key opinion leaders and policy makers to keep up with all the latest developments and improve the delivery of our service to pharmacies and received all the practical advice.
The Heart DNA Test was in particular interest for many pharmacy owners as it analyses genetic predispositions linked to cardiovascular conditions, screens for lipid profile, analyses the risks of developing blood clots and helps to identify the right medication to prevent any unwanted side-effects.
The Pharmacy Show 2018 was very successful event, most notable for its feeling of overwhelming positivity and optimisation for the future of the profession despite the challenges that lay ahead.
